• Request for Quote (RFQ) documents’ preparation for tendering, bidders’ technical evaluation and selection, systems planning and integrations, Solutions Geo redundancy, design and implementation and migrations
Home Device Management (HDM) system migration - For Home devices central management.
Improvements in Ooredoo Oman Mobile application such as deep link.
Establishment of a new SIM applet - OTA based (Informative and Interactive for subscribers’ interaction with their services) and defining its technical specifications, tests and SLA
USSD and SDP integrations and nodes management.
Main duties:
1- Manage and develop In-house solutions (web portals, tools and applications)
2- Manage the VAS/ software development team (tasks distribution and follow up)
3- Analyze new requirements from the commercial department and set the implementation plan
4- Develop and maintain web interfaces for new services
5- Carry out routine maintenance activities on VAS applications/servers.
6- Integrate VAS processes with main systems
7- Integrate third party’s systems with Africell systems
8- Monitor VAS processes, databases and performance
9- Optimize processes and database queries to accommodate traffic growth
10- Communicate with VAS suppliers to plan new integrations or expansions
11- Communicate with VAS support to troubleshoot issues
12- Manage VAS nodes and services

3- Time management system (using hand punch machines)
Achievement: Developed a new driver for hand punch machine which works under windows vista and above. This saved the product from becoming obsolete.
