Integral part of Electrical technical office team in execution of Central Plant Building,
Water Tanks Building, Utility Tunnel, Switching Substations, Main Passenger Terminal
Wing, Car Parking, Shelter Areas and Roads leading to Terminal including the Soft-scape
and Landscape at Kuwait Airport Passenger Terminal II Project.
Obtaining Client Approvals for Materials:
• Obtained the Material Approvals for all the Electrical Systems and Applications
by applying the technical specification, design requirements, local jurisdictions,
project requirements and International Harmonized Standards such as BS/IEC/UL.
• Confirmation for the Products Type Test/Factory Acceptance if applicable and
ensuring that they are Tested as per their respected standards.
• Attended Client's technical meetings with empathy and composure, accurately
handled the queries to their satisfaction for obtaining the approvals.
Method Statement & Inspection Test Plans:
• Prepared Method of Statements for the Site Executions in line with QA/QC and H.S.E
requirements.
• Prepared of Inspection Test Plans for smooth Client Inspection.
Design Coordination:
• Design Coordinated with other trades/disciplines
• Achieved an improved Schematics for the Project.
• Coordinated with the Mechanical, BMS and ICT equipment.
Manufacturing Drawings, Shop Drawings & Calculation:
• Finalized Manufacturing drawings for MV and LV Substations and their lower stream
distributions.
• Obtained approvals for Electrical Schematics & PMS System.
• Providing Design Team with all the installation details.
• Providing Solutions and concepts during installation for optimal execution.
• Short Circuit Calculations, Voltage Drop Calculations.
• KVAR Calculations for Power Factor Corrections Panels.
• Lighting Calculations.
• Earthing & LPS Calculation & Risk Assessments.
Interim Payment Certificates as per the Approvals.
• Preparation and Obtaining Approvals for Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) as per
the Site Executions and Construction Approvals.
• Responsible for Electrical and Low Voltage Applications.
• Obtaining Material Approval Submittals from the Clients/Consultants.
• Attending Client/Consultant meetings and striving to obtain optimized solutions to
problematic issues.
• Coordination with the Design team in preparation of Shop drawings.
• Tracked and monitored project progress and identified potential risks, taking
corrective action when necessary.
• Inspected construction sites to ensure that all quality and safety standards were
being met
