RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage all phases of an IT project

• Define scope of work, schedule, standards, and procedures for project assignments. Establishes members' roles and priorities

• Ensure each project’ plans are realistic, maintained and properly resourced as well as the delivery, if it is within the due dates

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the in-house IT Team and manage the members

• Provide technical direction to subordinates and review work produced to ensure technical excellence

• Create an inspired and motivated team environment with an open communication culture

• Lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve the set goals

• Monitor team performance and report on metrics

• Discover training needs and provide coaching

• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts

• Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments

• Encourage creativity and risk-taking
Manage 24x7 network operations team, ensuring

• Optimal network performance including monitoring, troubleshooting and restoration.

• keep the Data Center up and running to maintain the service provided by Punjab Govt to its various department.

Routing:Related tasks included providing cisco/Juniper router configuration and change management, providing technical support for Cisco/Juniper Router configurations and installation for company. Configuring different routing protocol and routing policy according to business plan and business applications requirement.

Switching: Related tasks included implementing VLANS and configuring 802.IQ trunk on Fast/Gigabit Ethernet channel between switches, Configuring STP, VTP, HSRP and multicasting, Configuring AAA and QOS as per business plans and business applications requirements

Wireless LAN:Related task included configuring and administrating the Wireless LAN infrastructure based on Cisco Wireless APs and Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers 4400/5500 series
