• Leading a team of 11 personnel that includes Field Engineers for more than 100 3G / 4G Sites, and System Technicians who provide data center support to the entire wireless network of Verizon.
• Providing guidance and support to the operations team in driving the data center framework to perform at the optimum most performance levels.
• Planning, scheduling, allocating, and supervising over day-to-day activities of the data center team, with focus on achieving pre-defined operational targets.
• Handling accountability towards the maintenance of end-2-end 4G Data Distribution elements, which include MME, S-GW, P-GW, Enterprise GW, Data Warehousing and Analytics Applications.
• Involved in the configuration, maintenance, and repairs of Cisco 7000 and 9000 Series routers, Juniper MX-960 and EX-8216 Switches, Ciena 6500 and Fujitsu Flashwave Fiber Platforms, and ALU 7705/7750 Routers.
• Managing maintenance cycles for high capacity dark and lit fiber rings, as well as for HAC and Power Systems (AC / DC) for the distribution center.
