 Financial Planning and Budgeting Role:
• Preparation of annual & monthly financial & operational business plans and strategies memorandums.
• Annual budgets preparation, finalization across all business segments including monthly revenue targets, capital & operational expenditure budgets, projected profitability scenarios, manpower and overheads budgets.
• Monitoring revenue, operating costs and margin results against set budgets and submitting variance reports with detailed commentary to the Company’s Board on monthly basis.
• Quarterly financial rolling projections as an enhancement of year-till-date financial results.
• Responsible for monthly MIS on revenue certifications, debtors and payables position, wage, salaries and other overheads expenditures for all business segments at Group level.

 Accounting and Reporting Role:
• Monthly accounting books closure and preparation of income statement, balance sheet, cash flows, stock aging and overheads statements for Construction segment.
• Circulation of business performance reports to Company's Board along with the detailed commentary on the performance of different projects & business areas.
• Responsible for monthly cash flow statements, working capital assessment reports with projections assessing & representing fund requirement scenario to Company's Management.
• Responsible for periodical statutory external audits, preparing all relative working papers and responsible to deliver answers to all auditor’s queries for Construction segment.
• Dealing with Financial institutions and Banks for opening of Bank Guarantees, letter of Credits facilities and responsible for new syndications and renewal of existing borrowing facilities.
• Monitoring and advising improvement possibilities of manual & software based accounting packages and reporting systems and instrumental in oracle based accounting package.

 Financial Analytics Role:
• Preparation of financial models & feasibility reports for new projects to validate the financial viability of the proposed project from promoter’s investment prospective.
• Advisory reports on feasibility of purchase & sale of any capital assets and leasing cost comparison against buying of assets in order to evaluate the scenario’s benefits.
• Project specific analysis to estimate the cost at completion of contracted civil projects in order to drive periodical break-even scenarios.
• Provide financial advice, assistance and early warning for cost over-runs, excessive charges, potential penalties, operational risks including delayed clients receipts and business risks.

Milestones & Achievements:
 Contributed overheads reduction initiatives to the tune of AED 6 Million.
 Appointed as Deputy Manager in July 2012 & Promoted as Manager in October 2013.
 Instrumental in Implementation of Cost at Completion based costing projections for each business division.

 Financial Planning and Analysis Role:
• Financial analyst for API & Formulation manufacturing, pharmacy retail, OTC & consumer brands & higher education business verticals.
• Responsible for complete budgeting & annual business plan processes for all business segments for India, Singapore and Canada operations.
• Instrumental in finalization of operational, capital and maintenance budgets for manufacturing vertical specifically.
• Responsible for quarterly rolling projections & management reviews of periodical results.
• Preparation of financial viability reports undertaking several analytical paths like discounting of projected cash flows & calculation of capital recovery period in order to evaluate the promoter's equity investment risks & return scenario in any new proposed business venture.
• Preparation & monitoring of long range planning & business capacity Models for each vertical.
• Monthly cash-flow projections with detailed assessment of working capital deficits and monitoring receipts & payments to conclude the Group’s actual funds position on monthly basis.
• Finalization of monthly cost sheets for manufacturing vertical.

 Financial Accounting Role:
• Responsible for scrutiny of all ledger transactions, quarterly accounts finalization & monthly provisional financial statements preparation in consonance with accounting standards and requirements under Company law.
• Performance update to Board including detailed analysis and commentary for financial results including income & expenditure, cash flow & monthly cost sheet statements analysis vis-à-vis to annual budgets & periodical rolling projections.
• Responsible for designing & implementing of accounting systems, procedures & policies.
• Instrumental in implementation of oracle based ERP system for Accounts and payroll departments.
• Supervision and analysis of stock records to track the inward/outward movement of goods; stock verification / reconciliation at regular intervals.
• Preparation, update and maintenance of Fixed Asset Register on regular basis ensuring all company assets are monitored & accurately accounted in financial system.
• Coordinating external statutory auditors and responsible to deliver all audit queries.
• Preparation of financial appraisal notes for fund-based and non-fund based limits from financial institutions.
• Liasoning with financial lenders for new syndications and renewal of existing facilities.
• Monitoring for all trade finance activities like opening of letter of credits and bank guarantees.
• Responsible to analyze & advice internal audit committee with an opinion on the internal controls measures.

 Mergers and Acquisition activities:
• Preparing business valuation pitches primarily based on discounted cash-flow approach.
• Due diligence for identified target opportunity - executing legal agreements & other compliance.

Milestones & Projects:
 Assisted in acquisition of USA & Canada based pharmaceutical analgesic OTC Brand “Active On”(deal worth $ 20 million) in August 2010 funded through EXIM Bank.
 Assisted in acquisition of an Hyderabad (India) based 30 Stores pharmacy retail company (Deal worth $ 2.5 million) in April 2011 funded through Company’s internal accruals.
 Set up the budgets and MIS monitoring of 20 plus cost center and handled over USD 45 Million bank syndication for Pharmacy retail, manufacturing and higher education vertical.
 Assisted in USD 45 Million GDR issue listed at Luxemburg stock exchange in June 2010.
 Key management participant for higher education and pan-India pharmacy retail ventures (investment of $ 100 Mn).
