Review Organizational Structure and working closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures;
Recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short-listing, interviewing and selecting candidates;
Undertaking regular salary reviews; allowance and work methods and implement upon approval;
Developing and implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;
Planning, and sometimes delivering, training, including inductions for new staff;
Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers;
Promote workplace safety;
Keeping updated staff record including leave register and staff files;
Perform other related duties as required
