Performance Profile:
• Monitoring stock movements and by using computer software generating purchase orders to maintain optimum level of stocks as per the business requirement.
• Receiving and checking received delivered items are in good condition and that they agreed with both purchase order and goods received note.
• Follow up with the concerned suppliers / agents for the reimbursements on rejected goods / credit notes.
• Maintaining stocks according to prescribed inventory system.
• Using scanners and barcode technology to label, track and trace stocks in a computerized inventory system.
• Entering data on to computer system to record progress of goods movement.
• Coordinating with buying team and logistics and with different branches and head-office relating to delivery accuracy, shrinkage, discontinued and sales lists, stock levels, stock aging, etc.
• Participating in annual stock takes and cycle counts by physical counting of stock.
• Applying a systematic approach to finding discrepancies between lists of stock and actual stock.
• Unloading and uploading goods, unpacking incoming goods and wrapping and packing outgoing goods.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the stock room, and merchandising goods in clear, assessable and systematic manner.
