• To Prepare Project Quality plan according to company Quality Objectives, Quality policy, focus on company vision and mission, contractual requirements, and client specification.
• Conducting awareness training to project team of quality requirements, Roles and Responsibilities, Quality objectives, scope, PQP requirement etc.,
• Continual monitoring and verification of Quality requirements for project throughout Project phase.
• Motivate the Project team to execute the project with Quality, safety, and cost-effective manner
• To conclude the Project QAQC Manpower according to Estimation during bidding stage as well as actual project requirements based on site feasibility
• Conducting Kick off meetings, pre inspection meetings with manufacturers / vendors before start of the production of equipment such as pump, compressor, pressure vessel, valves etc., and coordination among the inspection team, manufacturer and vendor.
• Assist in reviewing material specifications, datasheets, inspection and test requirements, material criticality rating to identify quality intervention inspection level.
• Review of material requisition, vendor offers, technical bid evaluations, and purchase requisitions to ensure project-specific requirements are identified/complied.
• Coordinates with third Party Vendor Inspection activities at vendors/sub-vendors and assures participation in Vendor inspection and test activities per approved Inspection and Test Plans. Review of engineering deliverables before submission to Client with respect to FEED documents, requirements of International Codes and standards
• Review of Vendor technical Offers, Deliverables, Technical Bid Evaluations for compressor, pumps, valves, Pipe fittings, Process pipe, line pipe, skids, vessels, in accordance with QatarEnergy PVL, Shell DEP, Project Specification and International codes and standards
• Planning, managing, and implementing the overall Procurement Quality Surveillance Plan for the project with all Vendor/Sub vendors for plate, pipe, fittings, valves, pumps, equipment, etc.
• Vendor surveillance by equipment criticality and procurement inspection during manufacturing of Equipment and Materials Ensures compliance with Contract and Purchase Order requirements.
• To assist in preparing the project management review meeting report, participate, and prepare MOM and follow-up for actions raised.
• Coordination with vendor inspection process through the assigned vendor inspection coordinator.
• Reviewing supplier inspection reports (SIRS), Inspection Data Records, and Manufacturer Data Records.
• Administration of project-specific audit schedule and non-conformance / corrective action register status reporting. Participation and conducting internal project audits, supplier pre-qualification, and surveillance audits in accordance with the approved project audit schedule.
• Implement QA/QC procedures for effective Quality Management and promote the implementation of company policies, regulations, procedures, and standards.
• Preparation of Quality Control procedures ITP, WPS, PQR, and WQT according to client requirements, standards, and follow-up for its approval and monitoring for implementation
• Witnessing Mechanical tests such as Tensile, Impact, Macro, bending, hardness, Nick breaks, etc.
• Supervising QA/QC personnel, witnessing inspections, checking reports and documentation issued by inspectors, and collecting the required quality records.
• Review and approve contractor, and vendor QA/QC procedures, and ITP stage activities such as Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication/Construction, Hook-Up, and Installation, Pre-Commissioning, and commissioning of offshore installation.
• Internal & External inspection of static equipment’s like Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Heaters, Boilers, Flares, Reactors and identifying all the abnormalities like corrosion and erosion defects, leaks, bulging and buckling, annealing colours if any, welding defects and reporting with photos wherever applicable.
• Review of drawings, ITP and history of each allotted Equipment.
• Ensuring PTW, gas check and appropriate PPE before entering equipment.
• Witnessing NDT activities like DPT, MPI, UT & and reviewing RT films and reports.
• Verifying testing preparations, calibration of testing equipment, water certificate and Witnessing Hydro test, Pneumatic test, for equipment’s as per ITP.
• Witness Valve Hydro test and Pneumatic test (Seat, Body, Back seat & Functional test) as per API 598.
• Following Repair activities which were performed by approved Repair contractor, as per approved repair procedure.
• Final walkdown and BOX UP clearance for the equipment’s.
• Systematically records the nonconformity reports issued identifies appropriate corrective actions, manages, and maintains Project KPIs related to Quality matters.
• Manage collaboration of measurement instruments and related certifications.
• Proactively identify any potential Quality failures and report to the Project Lead regularly
• Liaise and interface with the company Quality Head on topics related to Quality.
• Review and approve the Quality documentation applicable to construction yard issues by the Contractor and Subcontractors,
• Review and approve of the change of management process, deviation, technical query, concern, and weaver for QC and NDT-related activities.
• Follow up, create work order notifications through SAP, and close out work orders in SAP.
• Establish a set of project-specific procedures and control (Offshore Jacket / Topsides/ Pipeline/ Piping modification) inspection activities, using the company’s best work practices
• Marking of test limits in P&IDs, Isometric Drawings, Review of NDE summary, etc.
• Review of test packs and witness hydro testing of piping.
