• Managing a team of Engineer proficient in MEP/ELV systems and on-site building practices.
• Responsible for the IT, Telecom, ELV, Electronic Security and Fire Alarm systems design contents as assigned together with its follow-up for Authorities and Client's approval.
• Responsible for chairing coordination meetings with the contractors to ensure that the intended design is implemented
• Responsible for regular site visits to ensure installation standard is satisfactory.
• Liaison and coordination with all applicable Local Authority Departments to obtain approval at all stages of the project.
• Coordination with other Discipline Engineers (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical) as applicable
• Responsible for the design review of the IT, Telecom, ELV, Security and Fire Alarm services.
• Participation in design review meetings and workshops. If required.
• Preparation of meeting records, design review and design progress reports.
• Liaise with Local suppliers / Contractors to ensure adherence to standards and scope of works required by client.
• Coordinate with design managers undertaking close-out work in all stages of the design development.
• Validate & check design drawings for IT/ Communications Systems & Security construction phases of the project.
• Provide guidance and advice to the ELV team for alternative proposals by the contractor.
• Responsible for Estimation and design of the project budget.
• Setting the goals for accomplishing the project objectives within the constraints of the project. Involved with the planning, controlling and monitoring to best meet project objectives.
• Provide technical support to the team.
• Validate and reviews the drawings and Material Submittals.
• Coordination with other trade contractor.
• Report to Project Director.
• Design Estimation and Tendering of Project.
• Follow up Site work and Coordination.
• MEP/ELV Design and Execution in Qatar Petroleum Project at Halul Island.
• Responsible for the design review of the IT, Telecom, ELV, Security and Fire Alarm services.
• Participation in design review meetings and workshops. If required.
• Preparation of meeting records, design review and design progress reports.
• Project management, technical support and sub-contractor relationship
• Fully understand, manage and control Profit & Loss related to execution of projects
• Implementing strategies to ensure that the company’s revenue and profit objectives are met
• Building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls and Electrical systems
• TCP/IP Ethernet networking and structured cabling using UTP and fiber optic
• Low Voltage electrical controls panels, Variable Frequency Drives and Programmable Logic Controllers • Controls, engineering, programming, commissioning and troubleshooting techniques in automation field using controllers
• Testing and commissioning of digital control systems
• Proficiency in the use and application of computer software for engineering specific requirements and graphic generation
• Visio software tools, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel
• Integration of third party systems(Modbus, Bacnet)
• Versatile and strong knowledge to adapt to any controls industry
• ELV systems: Access controls, CCTV, Fire alarm system, lighting controls (EIB) Projects
