• Check & issue comments / approval of Shop Drawings, Co-ordination drawings, Material submittal, Method Statement for Installation, Testing & Commissioning of all Mechanical Services including Oil & Gas and Building Automation System. Check & give comments on material sample. Check and approve QA /QC policies, procedures, ITP. Ensure that Quality and Safety policy and standards are met..
• Carry out Material Inspection of Piping, ducting, valves accessories and all Mechanical Equipment BAS Controls supplied at site prior to installation. Check, guide contractor and approve the mock up / benchmark installation of all mechanical works and BAS.
• Check Piping of all services including weld fit up, provision of supports, expansion joints, anchors, guides on risers, seismic supports, Steam piping, Gas piping, Gas detection system, Fuel oil pumping and piping system, Domestic water & Drainage piping, Fire fighting sprinkler, FM200.,
• Testing & Commissioning - Check alignment of pumps, commissioning of pumps, HW, CW, Fire fighting Transfer of water at various levels and commissioning of controls system, CHW balancing, HW balancing. Air balancing, Chillers, Cillers, Boilers, and all Mechanical equipments, Life Safety Equipments, Emergency system, Commissioning of FM-200 system Integrity test, Pre-action system, Fire Fighting Pumps & complete system. Follow ASHARE, BSRIA, CIBSE, NFPA relevant standard.
• Building Automation System - Check the complete installation, explain and approve the Control strategy & Sequence of Operation, Check all field devices installation operation and BAS at work station • Issue Site instruction / NCR. Resolve technical issues, reply to RFI’s (Request for Information), raised by contractor.Change request, PMI.
• Witness & approve Testing & Final Commissioning of all Mechanical equipments, including Boiler, Oil, Gas, BAS & complete system & related Fire alarm interface.
Nature of Job: As a resident Engineer for Residential Apartments 4 Buildings, Leo Burnett Office Building TECOM - Dubai Holding.
Designing of HVAC system, Approval of Shop Drawings, Co-ordination drawings, Submittal of Mechanical Services & Building Management System. Attend and conduct MEP meeting with contractors, Check contractor’s monthly invoice, monthly & weekly project plan, progress report, Site Inspection. Interact with Client brief on progress & quality of works, resolve variation statement & technical issues as per client’s requirement. Check Installation & witness final Testing & Commissioning of Mechanical Equipments, Building Management controls, Fire Alarm System and Final Sign Off of Electrical Commissioning. Check As built drawings, Operation & maintenance manual of Mechanical services & Building Management System. Offer final Inspection to Client to check performance & acceptance of system. Issue Snag list on completion of project. Ensure all the related documentation is done before final handing over project, documents and material to Client.

Heat Load Calculation, Equipment Selection, Designing of Low side & High side system. Tender preparation, Comparative statement of bidders. Plumbing system. Calculation of Building Water - CW, HW requirement, Designing of Drainage System. Preparation of Design drawings, Co-ordinate drawing of MEP services. Approval of Material submittal & Shop drawing. Attend MEP meetings, Resolve site issues.

Submission of Tenders with required technical and commercial details in time, Discussion & Negotiation with the Consultant & Client, Finalization of order. Resolve technical issues of site.
