I have done the Pre-commissioning, Commissioning analysis for NGL TR4 Plant in GASCO Ruwais Plant. Involved in various test runs of different plants during start up.
I have done the Pre-commissioning, Commissioning & Set up activity of QA/QC Laboratory (technical evaluation of instruments, preparation of SOPs & methods, specification set up etc.) of Naphtha Cracker & Associated Unit (PGHU, BDEU, BEU & CHU) at Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd).
Involved in the Commissioning of various types of Laboratory instruments, mainly Gas Chromatography (GC) with TCD, FID, FPD, NPD, PFPD, SCD, DHA, RGA & REFORMALIZER, Methanizer through Chemstation, TotalChrom, Galaxie software, Micro coulometer, XRF, Auto Distillation & CFR Engine etc. Ability to develop & setting up Gas Chromatographic methods for separation of complex mixtures in C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, C7, C8 Streams (Gas & Liquid) of hydrocarbon samples.
Active role to in house development of Motor Spirit EURO III & IV from our auxiliary products (e.g.: Pygas/HPG, Cyclopentane, C6-Raffinate, C5 Product).
Preparing standard samples (synthetic blend -wt/wt, wt/vol ppm or %) for calibration i.e C6-C10 aromatics blend, PINA blends (29 components for Naphtha), different sulfur standard ( 1 ppm wt/wt to 2 % wt/wt ), N2, Thiophene & NMP standard for Benzene (0.3 ppm wt/wt to 6 ppm wt/wt ), VCH standard for Butadiene ( 50 ppm wt/wt to 300 ppm wt/wt )
Field of analysis Raw Materials: NGL, LPG, ACID GAS, FUEL/LEAN GAS Naphtha, Butene - 1, Hexane, Hexene, NMP. Intermediate Product: Ethylene, Propylene, Acetylene, C4 Mix, RPG etc. Finished Product: Ethane, Propane, Butane, Butadiene, Cyclopentane, Benzene, CBFS, HPG/Pygas, auto - LPG, Motor Spirit, Sulphur.
1) Analysis of all types of Petroleum & Petrochemicals products ( Ethylene, Propylene, Propane, Butadiene, Butene-1, C4 Raffinate, LPG, Benzene, Pye Gas, Cyclopentane, C5-Product, C6 Raffinate, RPG, Motor Spirit, CBFS, Hydrogen etc ) following ASTM / IOP / IS / BASF methods and issuing Quality certificate .·
2) Raw material ( Naphtha, Methanol, DMDS, TBC, Ammonia, Phosphate, Hydrazine, Caustic, sulphuric acid etc ) analysis, water analysis and analysis of additives used for polymer plants .·
3) Preventive maintenance, calibration & troubleshooting of all sophisticated instruments ( including GC, Micro - coulometer, XRF, CFR Engine, Distillation, Viscometer, Flash point, Karl-Fischer auto titrater etc ) and water testing ( AAS, Spectrophotometer, TOC analyser etc) .
4) Releasing result through LIMS & well versed with SAP QA module .
5) Preparing daily and monthly reports from LIMS .·
6) Handling procurement of laboratory chemicals, glass ware & instruments spare and inventory control .·
7) Assist marketing department in new product development activities, address customer complaints and issuing technical reports .·
8) Implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 & SQC in Laboratory .·
9) Coach and train chemists to develop site analytical capabilities .
