Key Responsibilities:
• Drove e-extension and access to finance using Market Research, entry strategy and risk analysis to create business models for Ag-tech companies and social Impact

Achievements
• Facilitated the first commercially run digital agricultural extension service for farmers in hard-to-reach communities of North-Eastern (NE) Nigeria
• Leveraged ICT to create borderless access for 3M farmers in hard-to-reach regions
• Supported three radio stations to adapt their business strategy and got 9 new sponsors for programs that previously had lacked sponsorship.
• Working with Financial institutions to facilitate inclusive financial services in the NE, I catalysed a policy change to reduce the entry barriers for 6000 smallholder farmers in excluded communities to access loans. The bank adopted the model and increased their turnover by 30% In a pandemic year (2020)
• Facilitated dissemination activities and events: Impact assessments, webinars, close-out planning etc.
• Developed Matchmaking Structure and Platform to Catalyse Investment in Agroecological Enterprises

My major achievements were:
Linked 300, 000 farmers/processors to finance for technology adoption, new equipment, raw materials, inputs, and working capital. This led to increased income by 40% (additional income).
Supported rural farmers to institute cooperatives and saving groups using a proven model.
Negotiated and convinced private sector partners to invest over $460, 000 in models that created effective and inclusive markets, increased farm yield, created employment, developed market linkages, and supported appropriate technology-driven development.
