Under the umbrella of the UNDAF and Zimbabwe DWCP, coordinate the implementation of a youth employment and women economic empowerment programmes; • Design skills development programmes targeting people in rural communities on the basis of assessments of labour market opportunities. • Developed project’s work plan; established and maintained close links with the relevant national authorities, including governmental organizations, employers’ and workers’ organizations and non-governmental organizations; • Negotiated contracts and sub-agreements with implementing partners and agencies; ensuring adherence to rules and regulations for financial and administrative matters and ensure timely fulfillment of all obligations and delivery of expected results of the programme • Ensured timely implementation of activities through systematic monitoring of activities at all levels and proposed corrective action where required; • Prepare briefs, terms of reference and periodical progress reports (technical and financial) on project activities in the country, specifically draft detailed technical progress reports every six months and draft budgets and financial reports; • Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning - document and disseminate programme lessons to promote good practices.
