Responsibilities Include
• Manage Project Managers for the coordinated management and execution of multiple related projects directed toward strategic business and other organizational objectives
• Plan, monitor and effectively deliver on multiple projects within the Technology portfolio in a cost-effective manner
• Working with program and initiative stakeholders to ensure delivery of multiple allocated key and strategic projects
• Maintain continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives, and make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness toward the business result or strategic intent
• Establishes relationships with project teams to ensure delivery of high quality projects on time.
• Technical Review and analysis of the status of allocated projects.
• Review and analyze all project risks and issues with the Project Managers and oversees measures to mitigate them while escalating critical and major risks to the Management.
• Responsible for coordinating and aligning the inter dependencies of allocated projects with other functional departments \[IT, Finance, Marketing etc\]
• Responsible for working with project managers in mandating the clauses and guidelines for floating of RFP’s based on different functional or strategic requirement.
• Review project change requests to ensure complete understanding of the request and assesses whether it is critical and approves project level changes if deemed necessary while escalating critical changes to the Management.
• Ensure the adherence to Quality Assurance processes across all allocated projects.
• Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards on the progress of initiatives within the Technology Portfolio to Management.
• Member in the team for CAPEX planning for 2013,
• Aid in creation of the Operational Plan 2013, along with requisite templates, dashboards etc for its maintainence and progress display of each project in the OP 2013.
•Recruit, supervise and train them on access network equipment and effective working techniques.
•Assign and plan schedules to the staff and provide targets to deliver and Scrutinize finished project works by the staff.
•Conduct technical evaluation of the new products from vendors for their effective working.
•Supervise staff in their work progress mainly installation and commissioning/acceptance testing of HUAWEI, ZHONE and ALCATEL GPON OLT’s adhering to strict quality standards.
•Set annual targets for staff and conduct yearly appraisals
•Ensure maximum network availability maintaining SLA’s.
•Ensure targets and KPI’s are met by staff.
•Analyzed faults and coordinate with vendors for new telecom softwares and patches to upgrade the systems.
•Planning for future expansion of FTTH/GPON access network.
•Lead teams to troubleshoot faults on GPON/FTTH and Copper Network for business services (IPVPN, Leased Lines, PRI etc. maintaining SLA) and residential customers
•Conduct periodic site visits to ensure installation quality by contractors.
•Involved in planning and designing deployment of various access equipments into transmission networks.

1. HUAWEI HONET UA5000 for triple play services and ZHONE IPMALC & XP Raptor, MALC & Raptor, LUCENT MRT and ERICSSON DSLAM Mini DSLAM
2. ALCATEL Digital Cross Connects 1630SX, 1515CX & PDMUX
3. LUCENT low capacity SDH (AM1+ & AMS) and HUAWEI METRO 1000 for provisioning of GSM, UMTS, F.O Cabs, NGDLC and to customer premises.
4.CISCO 3400 switch.
•Provisioning, testing and fault rectification of E1 backhaul links for GSM, UMTS and leased data circuits by using ALCATEL HDSL & SHDSL.
•Maintaining databases for access network circuits, equipments and fiber routing details spares database and keep track of spares.
.Prepare monthly report mainly covering fault occurrence and equipment hardware failures.
•Prepare various annual budgets for Access Network Maintenance section
