Respond to all system-generated messages.
Provide support for Disaster recovery testing.
Update and create procedures for performing daily tasks and system monitoring.
Monitor production and development products for availability.
Sets up, coordinates and monitors the operation of electronic computer equipment, such as printers, tape and disk drives
Researches error messages and may manipulate console to properly sequence job steps after a job is interrupted
Identifies hardware and software malfunctions and takes appropriate corrective action as necessary to resolve operating problems
Maintains scheduled reports of operations activities including trouble reports, logs, etc.
Execute system IPLs, power-on-reset, and stand-alone dumps.
Monitor systems for job allocations, hardware errors, and problems effecting system performance.
Run system maintenance jobs and back-ups.
Monitor and support TSO, NRPC, RIO users
Execute jobs related to other Ministry organization.
