As part of Shared Services Operations, the Master Data team provides product master data maintenance services for Ericsson globally as follows:
▪ Create, change and delete master data according requests and on behalf of projects
▪ Provide master data expertise
▪ Analyze complex master data related questions for projects
▪ Propose solutions to complex master data related question for projects
▪ Develop master data related solutions for projects
▪ Improve and document MDM ways of working end to end
▪ Develop MDM supporting tools and produce MDM training material
▪ Measure how MDM ways of working are designed (process performance) and used (operational performance)
▪ Analyze process and operational performance
▪ Actively share knowledge and best practice

Enterprise Portal, Service Management Platform (SMP Incident Portal)
▪ Organizes field intervention activities with customer, Oracle or partner engineer
▪ Communicates with logistics to ensure that the arrival of parts and engineer to site meets customer expectations and contractual obligations
▪ Identifies if a part is in stock to replace a faulty part identified by an engineer Technical Support Center (TSC) or Field
▪ Monitors queue of Service Request tasks to ensure all open tasks are being managed in a contractual timely manner and acts as an escalation point for out-of-line tasks, resolving discrepancies related to escalation activities from missing parts
▪ Responsible for monitoring and minimizing costs in delivery of spare parts
▪ Material Master Data (MM) analyzing - spare part and equipment codification
▪ All changes/modifications relating material codes according to Saipem criteria
▪ Analyzing and solving the requests of the sites, urgent changes required by storekeepers
▪ Analyzing of the discrepancies appeared due to malfunction of the interfaces (SAP▪AMOS) and fixing the errors
▪ Cleaning for the material data
▪ Accounting activities - referring to the movements of store/warehouse, inventory of the materials/ monthly reports regarding stocks for different sites
▪ Technical support regarding the data management of the material codes and machine codes for every site/ plant/ vessel
▪ Reporting activities regarding the monthly stock, movements and purchases
▪ Coordinating the purchase and the quoting process from vendors for projects requiring goods or services
▪ Coordinating and helping in the preparation of sourcing documents, contracts, statements of work and other related procurement documents, following guidelines
▪ Verifying new vendor registration information and initiating vendor registration
▪ Requesting competitive vendor quotes
▪ Analyzing the quotes and deciding the process to be followed from start to delivery of the goods/services
▪ Monthly and weekly reports related to Frame Agreements, Purchase Orders and Vendors issued through SAP NetWeaver
▪ Volume discount analysis and recover
▪ Suppliers price lists comparisons using Microsoft Access
▪ Managing suppliers price lists and electronic catalogues in E-business system
▪ User support, handling the issues and requests regarding the use of the E-business system (online platform of Saipem, used for catalogue purchases, electronic bids and auctions)
▪ Performs rollout for codification and qualification activities
▪ SAP NetWeaver and SAP system user
▪ Manages the Vendor's Qualification processes thorough all its phases
▪ Codifies, updates and manages the data and the Status of Vendors registered into the client's Data Base of Vendors
▪ Manages all the formal communications with the Vendors (by e-mail or by phone) concerning the requested tasks
▪ Manages the qualification documents, including the archiving of received hard copies
▪ Manages the relations with the Technical Evaluators, Management System
▪ Evaluators and Competence Centers of the Client, to gather the resolutions related to the qualification processes, including Audit planning and performances
