Responsible for providing integrated social work methods, aiding pupils who are vulnerable
and underprivileged to restore and enhance their ability for social functioning while creating
societal conditions favourable to this goal. Ensuring that clients received the best care and
were provided with resources which were conducive to their overall well-being, growth and
development.
• Conducting needs assessments and developing individualised or holistic plans for
clients.
• Linking clients to external community health facilities.
• Providing counselling and support to individuals, families and communities in need
through integrated social work services.
• Collaborating with other disciplines and agencies to coordinate and leverage support.
• Advocating for clients rights and accessing community resources on their behalf.
• Identifying resources in the community for the benefit of the clients.
• Identifying service gaps to mitigate the risk, e.g. through prevention methods.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of interventions and adjusting plans as needed and
evaluating the impact of service provided.
• Conducting follow-ups through monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the
intervention.
• Compiling clients psychosocial assessment through professional report writing.
• Making use of relevant policies and legislation to protect vulnerable clients.
• Drawing up parenting plans and facilitate mediation.
• Conduct home visits to establish facts and assess the home environment.
• Gathering and assessing information to provide clients with appropriate services or
intervention plans.

• Collaborating with disciplines to provide clients with programs and services.
• Promoting the well-being of the community through awareness and educational
programs
• Promoting and facilitating change through programs that empower the community.
• Identifying resources that the community can link with to best help their situation.
• Collaborations with other professionals studies as well as reviewing data and provide
feedback.
• Ability to recognise and avoid bias in all aspects of research and conduct to ensure
accuracy of information and finding.
• Analysing data, gathering and comparing resources, ensuring facts and sharing
findings with the whole research team.
• Adhering to required methodologies to maximise validity of data and facts.
• Compile final report, present findings and improve clients lived experience.
