Ensures compliance of all vessels in the fleet to client, class, flag and port state requirements as well as other marine requirements.  Ensures ship certificates are up to date and obsolete documents/certificates are replaced on-board.  Carry out internal ISM/ISPS audits and MLC inspections as per yearly schedule.  Organise OVID inspections, class surveys, flag state surveys, port state and client inspections of vessels across the fleet.  Ensure compliance with SOLAS and MARPOL requirements on board vessels across the fleet.  Lead collation of weekly and monthly marine operations statistics to monitor vessel performance.  Serves as link between the vessels and top management of the Company.  Maintain Company OVID records i.e OVMSA, OVPQ and OVIQ on the OVID portal.  Incident investigation of all incidents involving Company vessels using taproot methodology.  Liaises with Client, Class, Flag and Port State Representatives to close out non-conformities raised (if any) during audits of the vessels and the office.  Represents the Company in marine related meetings, seminars, audits and inspections.  Development and review of marine procedures for safe operation of ships.
 Support the vessel and the office in the implementation of the Company Safety Management System.  Regular review of the SMS manual, SOPEP manual, Ship Security Plans etc as per requirements

HSE Coordinator at Bourbon Offshore
