ENGINEERING & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
• Responsible for the technical closeout of the Project’s Electrical Scope and supported the Project Manager in the Commercial closeout of the Project Electrical Scope.
• Reviewed the As-Built BIM Model using Navisworks Freedom and ensured that all the systems and information are properly integrated.
• Reviewed and approved the As-built drawings, Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Warranty certificates ensuring that the Project Terms and conditions are met.
• Ensured the handover of the System Specific Spares and Consumables stock from the Contractor in accordance with the Project Terms, Compliance and Sales Offer.
• Assessed the Contractor's Variation Claim for 3.8 million AED and valued it in Lulu Group International's favor, saving the company 1.1 million AED.
• Developed systematic and engineering based methods for evaluating variations, that countered Contractors Claim during the commercial negotiation.
• Developed the format and procedure based on FIDIC for notifying the defects identified during the DNP to the Contractor and a total of 424 defects were raised during the period.
• Ensured that the Document Controllers kept up to date logs of Defects Close out Inspections and De-Snagging Inspections and tracked the progress of snag and defect rectification.
• Assessed the time required for the Contractor to properly close out the outstanding defects at the end of DNP and recommended to Senior Management that the Contractor DNP be extended for another 2 months.
• Prepared the specifications, design calculations, design drawings, bill of quantities, material selection for the Operations Projects.
• Oversaw and managed 1 Mega Watt Peak Solar Carport Installation Project and ensured cost effective, safe, and timely completion that met Mall Management Expectation.
• Oversaw and managed 1.2 Million AED AHF Installation Project and ensured cost effective, safe, and timely completion.
OPERATIONS & FACILITY MANAGEMENT
• Evaluated the AMC requirements for various Systems, prepared scope of work & HSE requirements, carried out Operational Risk Assessment, and created Contract Execution Plan before inviting bids.
• Prepared the techno-commercial comparisons based on the bids received, did the first round of negotiations before recommending the Service Provider for the approval of Management.
• Contributed towards the development of the mall standard operation procedures for Energy Management, Tenant Space and Provisions Utilization, Mall Operational Procedures.
• Contributed towards the development of the risk assessment and emergency action plan for the mall.
• Analyzed and reported the energy consumption trends, harmonic trends, parking space utilization trends using Microsoft Excel to the management.
• Offered technical advices and solutions to the Tenant Coordinators on how to meet the demands of the tenants with the available provisions in the Tenant Space.
• Lead coordination workshops with the Mall Management, Lighting Designers, Lighting Controls Team, Lighting Supplier, Project Architects and Consultants to finalize the Mall Lighting Scenes.
• Liaised with the various suppliers on the Warranty Claim issues and followed up until the claim was resolved.

• Inspected the Installation, Testing & Commissioning of the MV System, LV System, ELV System, Life and Safety Systems of the project, prepared inspection reports and site records.
• Materials delivered were inspected to ensure for the compliance, progress of material delivery was recorded and notified for any observed delay from the program.
• Reviewed material submittals, method statements, technical submittals, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and BIM Model.
• Worked in conjunction with Senior Electrical Engineer to solve design problems, performed basic design calculations as required.
• Non-conformance to Project Specs and Contract were notified to Consultant through Site Observations.
• Ensured Contractors work complied to project specifications, Contract, authority regulations and relevant international standards during inspections and issued comments with suggestions for corrective measures.
• Maintained a detailed diary of daily work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labor and equipment used etc.
• Monitored and recorded the progress of the work with photographs, analyzed the inspection logs, material verification inspection logs, shop drawing logs, and updated Senior Engineer on weekly basis.
• Assisted the Senior Engineer perform the technical and feasibility studies for the drafting of the RFP to solicit bids for the Provisional Sum items.
• Prepared response to the Contractor Letters and RFIs as and when instructed by the Project Manager.
• Enforced strict compliance to the HSE rules and regulations at the site for the Contractor Staff.
• Inspected the FAT and SAT on equipments to ascertain their compliance with the specifications and to determine it acceptability for use on the project.

• Installation inspection of various services including 11 kV panels and feeders, LV panels & cables, Bus Bar Trunking System, Fire Detection and Alarm, Central Battery System, PAVA system, CCTV System, BMS, Parking Management and Guidance.
• Testing and commissioning Inspections of the Medium Voltage Switchgear, CT & PT, LSIG testing of ACB, Megger Testing of LV Panels & Power Cables, High-Pot Testing, Earth Resistance Testing, Earth Loop Impedance Testing, Testing and Commissioning of Fire Detection and Alarm System, Central Battery System and PAVA, BMS, Fluke test of the CAT6 Cables, Control Panels, Verification of the Relay Settings and Coordination, VFD and Soft Starter Parameters, and Discrimination Study Settings.
• Design review inclusive of IFC drawings, single line diagrams, electrical load calculation, voltage drop calculation, and electrical equipment sizing.
• Coordinated with the design engineers for timely submission, approval of shop drawings and tracked progress by shop drawing register.
• Coordinated with the Mechanical, other sub-contractors for verification of actual equipment loads with IFC drawing and notified changes to the design department.
• Monitored the daily productivity by coordinating with site supervisors, compared with the planned rate and ensured the project progress is as per the planned program.
