• Manage and direct construction projects from start to finish.
• Conduct technical and feasibility investigations, and create designs that meet
technical criteria.
• Thoroughly review the project to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Contract preparation includes negotiating revisions and changes, obtaining permits
and licenses, and adding to contractual agreements.
• Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the
construction process to ensure that the working environment is kept to acceptable
levels and that tools and equipment are in good working order.
• Plan ahead of time to avoid problems and resolve any that arise.
• Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices.
• Develops and maintains project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records.
• Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions.
• Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.
