• Checking documents received against collection, under export, as per bank’s internal policies as well as ICC guidelines and lodging the transactions in the processing system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
• To issue and manage bank guarantees for corporate clients.
• Performing sanction checking of relevant parties in documents.
• To ensure that corporate loans are processed accurately, and all Fees are correctly accounted for and collected.
• To set up, process and facilitate Cash Management transactions within cut off times, as per AML / CFT controls, and handle investigations where required.
• Provide assistance to the Trade Finance / Supply Chain area to ensure transactions received from customers are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with collateral management requirements.
• To check client and bank requests for issuance of guarantees, to ensure legal acceptability, and compliance with the Banks standards.
• To verify client instructions against credit authorizations and agreed client conditions, to arrange.
• Input into the banks systems i.e Finastra Ti Plus (via liaison with regional team), prepare and issue bank guarantees.
• To provide support to the Loan Administration Area; receipt of client instructions or agent instructions, verification of client instructions against credit authorizations and agreed client conditions, arrange input of the loan into the Banks systems (via liaison with regional team).
• To ensure Fees are booked correctly with respect to amortization, Income accounts, invoicing as per approved conditions, reconciliation and adjustments i.e to manage the whole transaction from issuance to collection
• To assist with Cash Management product implementation, client support and satisfaction. Monitoring of payment queues and transaction reports throughout the day.
• Correcting any payment anomalies. Reporting of client comments and immediate escalation of any issues identified.
• To review and check customer’s application and process all completed document on each applicable stage.
• Sanction screening of all parties involved in trade transaction
• Overall processing of Import and Export transactions on Pakistan Single Window and ITRS F.E Returns.
• Monitoring and Reconciliation of all I Form / E Form data in Bank’s system and Pakistan Single Window.
• Coordination with SBP and customs for Pakistan Single Window related matters.
• Monitoring and assisting SBP Helpdesk unit for day-to-day approvals and other matters.
• To scrutinize each and every shipping documents and point out discrepancies and inform customer.
• To follow up overdue import/export bills and deal with customers to resolve problems relating to discrepancies.
• Certified Trainee of General Banking, Credits and Trade Financing from Askari Bank Limited as a Trainee Officer Batch 1.
