 Determine and recommend purchase of required materials.  Maintain purchase schedules to manage inventory at planned levels.  Evaluate and assess vendor performance.  Develop and build new supply sources in order to meet the supply /material requirements.  Perform cost analysis of materials and suppliers.  Prepare and communicate detailed plans and schedules  Maintain and manage inventory controls and re-ordering.  Ensure compliance of quality standards and assurances in materials and product delivery.  Develop and implement seasonal buying plans to attract customers.  Develop merchandise floor plans for store locations.  Coordinate with vendors and resolve the discrepancies.  Assist in monitoring and assessing current trends and customers' buying choices.  Maintain and manage assortment plans and distribution.  Interact with vendors, suppliers, distribution centers, stores and planning departments.  Maintain records of purchase orders and product inventories in an organized manner.  Analyze Stock movement report and verified with FIFO and LIFO.  Ensure the timely delivery of merchandise to the distribution centre.  Analysis Monthly Claims and ESD reports.  Budget analysis and allocate stocks accordingly  Product classification by department, group and subgroup wise.  Handling correspondence regarding approval on samples.  Negotiation with vendors for mode of payment, delivery term etc.  Manage DEO’s have updated the system on a daily basis
