Specification for commercial retail warehouse building construction documents with areas up to 180k SF. For new, renovation and facility maintenance project types. Work with over 50 Project Managers at (4) remote office locations. Senior Spec Writer for single client at all Canada, US and Mexico locations. Over 125 contracts per year.

Specification Divisions:
Apply Client provided boilerplate or use Company standard as appropriate for project. Instruction to Bidders for each project for scheduled meetings and material substitution process. Form of Proposal including bid itemization for project. Include List of Alternates, Allowances and Unit Prices with reference to Div01 for detailed descriptions of each. Coordinate/verify with drawing description. Coordinate process and description with company Cost Management Division and/or Project Manager.
Provide contact for product technical review including meeting with regional and district sales and technical representatives. Coordinate review and approval of product for use in project. Maintain file library of specification as well as master specification file for project manager use. Specification generation through DD, cost estimate, and extensive drawing review and coordination with PM. Perform QA in review process. Incorporate consultant spec sections into final CD. Addendum and material substitution response, submittal review, meet with material distributors. Mentor as required for Project Architects and Managers.
