Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review Design drawings and calculations submitted by the contractors from design consultant for HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting to ensure completeness, correctness and compliance with the scope of works and project specifications.
• Review and approved submittals including IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statement for installation and testing procedures, technical submittals, materials and alternative proposals submitted by contractors.
• Provide technical advice and assistance to the contractors to resolve issues by addressing the Request for Inspection (RFI).
• Attend technical meeting, progress meeting with the client representative and contractors.
• Design and material review for the following system:
- Chilled water system and cooling tower (close and open loop cooling tower)
- Air conditioning & Mechanical ventilation
- Domestic water system (piping & pumps)
- Hot Water System (Centralized by Heat Pumps and Heat Recovery from Diesel Radiators)
- Firefighting system (piping & pumps), IG, Water Mist system & Foam-Deluge system
- Oxygen reduction system for Vaults room
- Drainage system (piping & pumps)
- Grey Water System
- Irrigation System
- Water Features & Fountains
- Diesel fuel system
- VRF System
- Cold rooms (Kitchen areas)

• Preparing inspection reports and site records.
• Review the change requests/ variations submitted by the Contractors.
• Provide technical advice and assistance to the contractors to resolve site issues.
• Attend and witnessed Factory Acceptance Test of equipment's (locally and abroad).
• Attend technical meeting with the design consultant, client representative and contractors.
• Supervise and monitor site progress, identify critical issues or areas that may affect the project schedule.
• Issue NCRs, SORs and review the corrective actions proposed by the contractor and close out procedure.
• Inspect the materials delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC, Firefighting & Plumbing System.
• Initiate and facilitate technical coordination meetings to find a solution for the coordination issues arise at site.
• Coordinates with subcontractors for mechanical work activities and materials status and deliveries of short and long lead items.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the client representatives & suppliers for technical clarifications to ensure that the submittals will met the requirements prior to approvals.
• Review DD drawings, calculations and specifications submitted by the contractors from design consultant for HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting to ensure completeness, correctness and compliance with the scope of works and project specifications.
• Review and approved submittals including IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statement for installation, testing and commissioning plan/procedures, technical submittals, materials and alternative proposals submitted by contractors and as-built drawings.

• Review, supervise, monitor, inspect the installation and witnessed the testing & commissioning of:
- Chilled water system with Thermal Storage Tanks
- Air conditioning & Mechanical ventilation
- Domestic water system (piping & pumps)
- Firefighting system (piping & pumps), IG-55 & Water Mist system
, Novec 123 & Deluge system
- Drainage system (piping & pumps)
- Diesel fuel system

* Review and developed design calculations for HVAC,
Plumbing & Drainage.
* Review and prepared engineering design drawings &
project reports.
* Coordinate and collaborate with the suppliers, review
the technical submittals and conduct vendors’
inspection or testing if necessary to demonstrate in
compliance to pro- ject specifications, codes and
standards stipulated for the projects.
* Conduct engineering analysis with the other trades
and provide recommendations that fit the project
needs.
* Review the issued for construction drawings (IFC),
highlights the design changes and prepare
propose/ alternative based on the new requirements
or project specifications.
* Supervise and monitor site progress, identify critical
issues or areas that may affect the project schedule
and cost and address to resolve any engineering i
issues.
* Provide site leadership and mentoring site staffs to
minimize supervisions.
* Review all construction documents and highlight any
design and contractual discrepancies. Review and
approved all submittals including shop drawings,
method statement for installation, testing and com-
missioning plan/ procedures, technical submittals,
materials and alternative proposals submitted by
contractors. Conduct and attend site technical
coordination meetings to discuss and resolve
contractor (s) submissions, shop drawings, material
submittals and construction related technical queries.
* Raise non-conformance notices (NCNs)/reports; site
observation re- ports (SORs) identify quality
deficiencies. Review the corrective actions proposed
by the contractor and close out procedure.
Implement the site supervision and maintain the
quality control, assurance and procedures, and
review submission requirements of the project.
* Inspect, witness the installation, testing and
commissioning of all the mechanical electrical
equipment and sign off the relevant documents
for acceptance. Carry out the final inspection for
certification of final completion and handing over of
the works. Verify the accuracy of the contractor’s “As-
Built” drawings reflecting in details the as built
conditions and approve the As-Built drawings.
Review and approve the contractor’s operations &
maintenance manuals. Liaise with the Statutory
Authorities and follow up all final inspection and
approvals as required
