 Arranges shipments for the suppliers after receiving the order confirmation from the buyers
 Register the confirmed orders for future records
 Prepares order sheets & sends it out to the suppliers along with the signed P/I
 Keeps order file for each supplier containing the signed contracts, order sheets, barcodes & records of payment & shipping correspondence.
 Contacts & selects shipping companies/forwarders to make arrangements & issue instructions for shipping.
 Computes amounts such as volume of goods, available container space, storage etc.
 Verifies & keeps records of incoming shipments
 Monitors shipments to ensure that goods will arrive on time.
 Coordinates & follow-ups with the vendors & shipping companies regarding the status of shipment & original shipping documents.
 Resolve problems related to delivery status.
 Regularly monitoring shipments with the vendors & shipping companies to prevent delays.
 Make sure every shipment details are concise & complete for any future delivery problems to be avoided such as demurrages.
 Receipts of signed contract & orders sheets should be confirmed always by the suppliers.
 Responding on time for all the queries of the vendors regarding shipment issues.
 Keeping the order files organized & complete to avoid any important missing files or documents.
