I am responsible for the development and integration of systems and services that support
electronic (alternative) banking; across the following channels and services:
Corporate Website
Internet Banking Portal (Corporate and Retail)
Mobile Banking Applications (Retail)
SMS Banking (Retail)
Call Center Operations
ATM Network
Campaign Management (delivery and reporting of advertising campaigns across these
channels)
Merchant Relations (Point of Sale and Payment Gateway)
Development and management of bespoke internal line of business solutions for efficient
back and mid office operations.
I lead the organization in two main roles:
Technical Development, Testing and Implementation
In this role I am responsible for coordination between business, IT, vendors to ensure the
infrastructure is in place correctly and is being used in the most optimum manner to ensure a
uniform experience for customers across electronic channels.
I design, develop and launch custom applications for back office applications; monitoring and
executing the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for projects outsourced to third party vendors.
In addition, in this role I deal with the technology and operational aspects of managing a large
technological base to support operations across the entire organization and branch network.
Product & Service Development
In this role, I am responsible for reporting, forecasting and monitoring the existing alternative
distribution channels from a business and service perspective.
I have developed and streamlined cross-channel reporting across all service delivery areas;
enhanced internal and developed external tools to ensure that the bank remains competitive in
the market with respect to alternative banking.
In addition, my department also coordinates with marketing on campaigns focused on alternative
channels; distribution and monitoring of these campaigns across all electronic channels.
It was in this role that we identified and developed a unique solution for our education customers
that allows parents to pay fees directly through an application - where the payment gateway and
accounting is hosted directly with the bank. We offered this service as value add for educational
institutions. The service has been running for 5 years with progressive increase in both volume
and value of transactions processed through the gateway. I was the principle architect and
developer of the solution.
Further I also developed a new system to minimize the paper work that was sent between
branches and the electronic channels back-office for processing applications across the SMS
banking service. Since the launch of this new system, it has processed in excess of 50, 000
applications and has enabled the delivery of this service through the call center - something that
was previously only available at the branches.

Responsible for strategic IT planning, evaluation of IT infrastructure, management of in-house developers and consulting on IT aspect of design/architect projects; ie BIS
Worked on a project to upgrade core IT infrastructure:
Upgraded x86 servers to IBM BladeSystem.
Added fiber storage and storage virtualization.
Implemented automated backup system (previously was a manual process), including storage management and automation of off site backups using Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM)
Implemented remote access management (including firewall and network management) for off country locations.
KuwaitNET is a 10 year strong company with operations in the GCC and the only ICANN accredited registrar in Kuwait that provide Internet-related consulting and services to SMB in Kuwait.
I was asked to re-join Kuwait.NET and manage the entire operations department, including their IT support, development, project management, external relations and client services.
Primary Responsibilities were:
