• Following up on employees' contracts, managing employees' files, leave requests, NSSF, and the Ministry of Finance (MOF) documents in coordination with Finance / Admin Officers, and preparing payrolls as needed.
• Reviewing and revising HR policies in compliance with changing legislation.
• Receiving employees' complaints and acting accordingly to resolve them.
• Setting up the recruitment process; screening CVs in coordination with the program team and relevant staff, interviewing candidates, organizing the hiring process, preparing contracts and opening employee files.
• Conducting orientation for new employees.
• Reviewing and updating benefits and compensation packages if needed.
• Providing guidance and advice on performance matters, coaching and identifying practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues and recommending appropriate action plans.
• Coordinating the work of the Finance Admin Officers (FAO) regarding the HR functions and managing their time in coordination with the Finance Manager.
• Coordinating with IOCC lawyer and auditing office on any legal issue or any decision issued by the government.
• Gathering and reviewing documents required by the donors or auditors.
• Handling HR tasks related to IOCC Syria staff.
