I conduct the installation, maintenance and system upgrades of leading edge Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) components which provide for automatic collection, storage, retrieval, processing, transmission and receipt of data utilizing a wide range of equipment from simple scanners to servers for tracking military logistics for exercises and deployments. Determine the optimal configuration for hardware, network, and software, then build it out

Major Accomplishments:
My team produced a record benchmark for Seibel Software. The Operating System used was MS 2003 Windows Server (64 bit) and the database software used was MS SQL Server (64 bit) on an Integrity rx5670 4-way server. Results were published at the Seibel Users Conference in San Diego in October 2003.
Provided DBA services for Sybase clients for Adaptive Server Enterprise, Replication Server and Adaptive Server Anywhere.
Worked with various Sybase clients: providing Architectural support for n-tier computing. Using T-SQL, stored procedures, and triggers.
Designed and implemented a PowerBuilder transaction management service to exploit the Sybase DB system for a large funeral company’s financial system.
Presented "Removing the network from the transaction" at the ISUG conference in Vienna, Austria 1997.
Helped Design the communications layer for the OneStop WAN application at the Texas Workforce Commission.
