Partners: Nine (9) Lebanese Microfinance Institutions and
Financial Services Companies (NGOs and FIs)
Locations: Across all rural areas in Lebanon: North, South, Bekaa, and Mount Lebanon, Focus on Host Communities


Provided management leadership during the periods of travel and or vacation of program CoP.
Worked with CoP on all key program aspects in terms of strategy, planning, RFA grant awards, work plan, PMP, and program budget
Managed all aspects of large events performed in regional countries collaborating with all program partners, different stakeholders, and international organizations
Collaborated with CoP on key and special program projects such as the development of microfinance association, outreaching to Lebanese Diaspora through online platform, and mobile payments gateway
Managed all aspects of program financing and Budgetary requirements
Developed new MFI loan products and larger SME loans for MFI partners within the Lebanon Investment in Microfinance (LIM) program.
Engaged in developing MFI loan products targeting beneficiaries living in rural communities including women, entrepreneurs, and Youth.
Managed Technical Assistance for developing SME units for larger MFIs: Strategy, hierarchy, Products, application, cash flow analysis
Worked with leading regional/local organizations on issues of women empowerment and youth and international organizations namely Women’s World Banking
Provided technical assistance and capacity building to MFIs through training workshops and one-on-one mentoring projects
Developed technical database for tracking all training activities while tracking gender participation
Developed program agreements and Scopes of work for international/local experts to perform various technical assistance projects targeting LIM MFI partners.
Provided program reporting to IESC HQ offices in Washington and USAID Lebanon Mission

Oversaw two divisions within retail, Retail Products and Retail Specialized Units. Supervised all strategic planning and decision-making on personal loans for housing, cars, and other major retail products. Developed special offers and incentives to promote existing retail products. Designed innovative loan packages and financial plans including special housing loan offers, car loan offers, and insurance rates. Ensured payments were made in a timely manner, staff and clients adhered to rules and regulations, and regular financial reports were transparent and accurate.
Conducted a market study of the existing car loan offerings, and conducted a Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis on the study results. Established a new car loan unit and car loan product. The new unit enabled greater communication with the major channels of car loan distribution, especially the sales department. Implemented a successful commission policy for sales persons.
Responsible for special finance accounts. Conducted benchmarking, SWOT, and feasibility analyses to identify the best candidates for loans and to determine the potential success of a given financial proposal.
Conducted profitability study for all retail products. Conducted a profitability study for the development of two large accounts, a wedding account and a global service account. Established a new retail unit specializing in the preparation and follow up of special offers for corporate and SME and SMI clients. Developed new life insurance products. Worked with the legal department in the preparation and release of loan guarantees and collected information on new clients from other banks. Centralized a client history file.

Head of Housing, Personal Loans, and Business Development, Libano-Française SAL, Lebanon (2005-2009)
Developed a new retail unit, including determining the loan conditions, eligibility criteria, work flow, and legal and internal procedures. Conducted coaching, seminars and training. Analyzed credit for housing and personal loans. Developed housing loan in collaboration with the Central Bank of Lebanon and the Lebanese army. Developed new software in order to meet the requirements of the credit department; and developed statistics reports for follow up of the retail accounts.
