I am responsible for choosing the most competitive suppliers for all purchased components in 12 projects in the automotive industry. I coordinate the communication between Valeo’s departments and the suppliers. My experience includes the development of electronic components, plastic parts (both technical and aspect), resins, chemicals and non-ferrous metals. I lead technical and design reviews, engineering changes, of each component between Valeo and suppliers; validation of alternative electronic components, audits for purchasing linked to my projects and I coordinate the PPAP audits of each component together with the SQA team. I control and monitor suppliers’ deviations as well. I work under pressure and milestones scheme. I have experience in crisis management and resolution during serial production phase of projects without damaging customer production. I am in charge together with the logistics team of validating alternative packaging designs of the purchased components. I manage the purchasing self-assessment “Valeo 5000”. Moreover, I have participated in BIQS audits for purchasing. Purchasing amount of over 90 million USD.
I worked as coordinator, advisor and representative of the company ECO-LIFE at meetings held with financial entities and lawyer buffets. As advisor I developed a strategy of Expansion to Spain, I also performed a market research and identified business opportunities in the targeted market. I carried out negotiations with different banks on payment systems. Expansion to Spain ended in 2018.
