• Identify and suggest opportunities for improving the operations of the department to ensure continued delivery of the best services in the most cost-effective manner
• Prepare all the reports and monthly dashboards related to procurement department and continuously work on developing these reports and create new ones to enhance procurement operations, if needed.
• Conduct analysis and evaluation on any given database to generate the required reports (Vendor analysis, Vendor evaluation, Spend category analysis, etc.)
• Assist in preparing commercial analysis and comparisons for different tenders/requests under the supervision of Procurement Specialist
• Continuously analyze the different categories of supplier in local and international markets and update the Group’s vendor database accordingly
• Assure that all procurement activities are performed in a fully professional, transparent and ethical manner, and in line with Procurement policies and conditions of the grant and implementation agreement
• Assist in Managing the entire procurement process and execute day-to-day procurement functions such as: verify the technical specifications or terms of reference, prepare and launch procurement documents (RFQ & RFI), respond to written queries, or request for clarifications, facilitate evaluation panel, prepare evaluation reports, carry out price reasonableness analysis, prepare and award contracts, notify about contract award and conduct debriefing with suppliers
• Conduct bi-yearly local benchmarking on goods and services to ensure the best practices versus quality
• Contribute to people development initiatives within the department
• Perform any other work-related duties assigned by Procurement and Contracts Director
• Liaises between Fira Qatar and ELAN Group
• Implementation of best business practices to ensure operational efficiency

• Contributes to overall development of Fira Qatar
• Develops draft project plans including estimation of timelines and financial/human capital resources required and liaising with PMO officers
• Prepares and submits project status report to track project execution and identify potential bottlenecks and risks
• Works with Events Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing projects
• Documents client needs for the events as well as maintain overall event project management documentation
• Monitors and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Process all Fira Qatar administrative requirements for the timely execution and closure of projects: internal forms and memos, invoices, purchase orders, and all others
• Liaises with all project subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
• Maintain and update portfolio of exhibition subcontractors
• Prepare and submit internal business reports including business dashboards and Business Unit reports
• Lead and ensure the standardization of Fira Qatar documents, briefs, reports, tools, and manuals
• Co-prepare and manage business development project proposals
• Perform all other related duties assigned by the General Manager
