• Ensure that all communication is in accord with the University's Dignity at Work principles and Language Policy.
• Communicate effectively and appropriately in both formal and informal situations with colleagues at all levels within the University, with students (and where applicable their parents/guardians/close relations).
• Engage appropriately with external contacts and members of the public, always representing the University in a positive way
• Preparing correspondence including e-mails, newsletters and various communications.
• Contribute to the writing, editing and proof-reading of University recruitment publications, flyers and web-based recruitment material, paying particular attention to detail and ensuring that distribution is targeted and fit for purpose.
• Ensure that the University's overall marketing templates and key messages are reflective of the University's core Marketing strategy.
• Provide one to one information and advice to potential applicants.
• Using audio-visual and/or other presentational equipment as required.
