First a consultancy and audit role, then Human Ressources Director on account of the different objectives. CEO Advisor for the political and social problems for the both ports and airport from Djibouti. In fact strategy and global HR items.
I should implement jobs evaluation (HAYS) and reward system, prepare labour negotiations and regulations, also managing and analysing HR process to develop short medium and long term plans. All HR crosscultural problems solving were on my charge. (more than fifteen nationalities...) I should also be able to develop working relationships with employees at all levels and relationships with the local authorities and Dubai, from which my position was depending. I have also accompanied different projects as "developpement abroad of clinical assistance for the staff " (I should negociate some contracts with foreign hospitals -Dubaï, france, India" in order to find treatment for ours emploees.) In the same time, I have recruited a local medecin inside for the port and participate to a national project for preventive treatment of aids.
I have transmitted to the human manager all my skills and competencies in order to make her able to continue with more autonomy. I should inspire and become effective new international working processes in order to increase also productivity; new balanced scoreboard have been implemented to help the managers to follow the achievements. Also talents management with incentive have been created and followed up by Direction Staff. I have also developped coaching in order to improve human skills and team organization. Training for conducting appraisal interview...
I was also in charge of some negotiations with economical government leaders in order to develop business in Djibouti ans in the region.
In the end of the contract, there was a split between the both ports (one would be taken by the governement and I should prepare the human split... and the different mobilities.)
After the end of this EXpatriate contract, I continue as an advisor to go two or three times per year, in these countries to follow the new plans.
