In May 2011, I was given the responsibility to implement the company’s strategic EPC vision of building
its presence in Asia, starting with the creation of Teyma India. In February 2015 this role was expanded
to the Middle East where I managed a $500M portfolio of water and energy projects.
Main Tasks
Project Management & Financial Control of multiple projects:
o Set strategy and key decisions of each project.
o Monitoring and reporting Cash Flows, budget and schedule of the projects.
o Decided on the contractual strategy to follow.
o Streamlining processes to maximize efficiency.
o Led negotiations with clients for contract agreements, variation orders and other commercial
agreements for termination / closing of contracts.
Team Management
o Established the team selecting and incorporating the key profiles to the company and projects.
o Established the targets for the team, in consonance with the overall HR group guidelines.
o Nurtured a positive working environment managing escalations to keep team motivated.
o Led multicultural teams (Indians, Sri Lankans, Arabs, Europeans, Latin Americans) and always
empowering talent.
Strategy:
o Decided the key focus areas, geographies and type of clients.
o Created partnerships for strategic development and jointly bid for different projects.
o Reviewed and approved the marketing campaigns.
o Conducted feasibility studies of other countries / regions where to expand.
Study and develop hydro projects in Spain, Greece and other european countries. In charge of conducting Due Diligence for potential new targets. Initiated thefeasibility studies of offshore windfarms for the company.
Technical office in charge of cost control and monthly certifications of a Metro Project over 450 Million USD.
