OSN is a pay TV network in the Middle East and North Africa that offers international television entertainment content such as movies, sporting events and various TV series, both locally produced and international.
As Financial Reporting and Compliance Manager, I am responsible for the preparation of the holding company (PMGL) and its subsidiaries’ statutory standalone financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP.
In this role, I am working closely with the Financial Reporting and Compliance Senior Manager/Director, Finance Director, Regional Finance Manager’s, Tax and Legal Departments.
Key responsibilities :
Prepare the Group’s entities’ statutory standalone Financial Statements under IFRS or local
GAAP in accordance with local regulatory requirements
Support the Regional Finance Managers to close the local statutory accounts under IFRS or
local GAAP
Coordinate the Group’s entities’ statutory audits and ensure they are completed on time
Keep abreast of changes and ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, regulatory and
statutory reporting requirements
Assist in updating and developing the Group’s Accounting Policies Manual
Assist in improving the internal control processes
Provide assistance in the review of the accounting aspects of complex transactions
Any other finance related tasks as set out by the Financial Reporting & Compliance Director/Senior Manager.
