Project: KAIA (King Abdulaziz International Airport)
Position: Senior ICT-RE
In charge of the ICT Systems in the airport project covering 27 Systems for the building facilities (DNS, SCN, WLAN, VoIP, FAS, SACS, CCTV, AVDGS, AODB, EVIDS, PAS, FAS, SCN, etc.) and 25 Systems for the ATC Tower.
The project is ongoing and expected to be finalized by 2023.
Consultancy Services for Airports Projects.
SAS Airport Specialist and Resident Engineer
• Resident Engineer for Special Airport Systems, ELV and Passenger Loading Bridges (PLB) .
• IT and SAS (Special Airport Systems) consultancy support for Airport Projects (Terminal 3, Concourse2, Concourse 3, Concourse 4, Terminal 2 and Terminal 1 Refurbishment of Dubai International Airports).
• Design and tender documents preparation for Structure Cabling System, Computer Network Equipment, WLAN, and VoIP.
• Implementation, supervision, follow up, testing & commissioning and coordination for SAS Systems.
• Direct in charge of the following systems: Computer Network Equipment, WLAN System, Structured Cabling Network, and VoIP.
• In charge of Interface Coordination between all systems and packages needing to communicate and exchange information.
• Replace Engineers during their leave for PAS, SACS and IP CCTV Systems.
Projects execution and management covering Gigabit switches, Firewalls, Video Conferencing systems, ..
In charge of the technical department and post sales installations.
Implementation of the Gigabit Network for ETISALAT for Abu Dhabi offices.
Responsible of installation and provision of maintenance to equipment and software, at the customer’s and SITA premises.
Managing internal SITA LAN centers (Installing & configuring servers and PC stations).
Installing network equipment at customer sites (mainly airline agencies like Lufthansa, Air France, British Airways, …) covering different type of networks (Ethernet, Token-Ring, routers, gateways…) and different kind of operating systems (Windows NT, 2000, Novel Netware 5, OS/2…)
Maintain and install SITA node concentrators.
Detect, analyze and identify faults and initiate corrective measures and actions.
Assist and act as Technical Manager during his absence.
Working at the service department covering Computer systems from PC to Mini Computers and Systems Networking covering LANs and WANs.
The main work covers installation and maintenance of systems as much as troubleshooting and repairing. Installation covers Hardware and Software (Operating Systems and Setup of equipment) to get the system up and running.
Teacher and Project assistant at the Electronics, Computer, Machinery and Solar labs. The main work concerned preparing lab sessions and projects for Electrical Engineering students and assisting them.
