This Company is active in Managing of Sludge Treat. Plants in Bahrain
I am responsible for :-
Oversees planning, creation and implementation of Safety programs. Enforces
Compliance with health, safety, and fire codes to reduce or prevent hazards, dangers, or
accidents in areas of hazardous materials, fire, life, occupational and/or industrial hygiene
safety.
Key Responsibilities:-
Enforces the company safety rules and regulations at Plant site.
Conducts safety inspection of work areas to ensure safe working conditions.
Ensures that a work activity on site is subjected to hazard identification and risk
Assessment process.
Main task being carried out :-
- Conducts frequent Risk Assessment at plant site
- Conducts audits and inspection of work areas, machinery, equipment, and working
conditions for compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
- Reports incidents of non-compliance to codes and standards, and may recommend
corrective actions. Follows up to confirm implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensures the availability, readiness, and proper use of required accident prevention
procedures, safety and fire prevention equipment, protective clothing and devices, and
First Aid supplies.
- Maintains records of safety audits and inspections, as well as required follow up actions.
- Maintains inventory of first aid, safety, and fire equipment.
- Conduct new hire safety orientations, daily safety checks and weekly toolbox training
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Promote Safety awareness and safe working practices among all personnel working in
the plant
- Identify and work to eliminate hazards, unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
- Keep daily records
- Raise any non-conformances or poor workmanship with the Manager in a timely manner
- Raise any safety issues, , keeping the Manager informed
Make sure that employees in the plant under his supervision are complying with
Safety rules and regulations.
