Duties: -
• Preparation of financial report, status report and KPI report and submit to client.
• Preparation of cost estimates to raise Engineer Instructions (SIs).
• Preparation of site instructions (SI) and submit to the client with backups.
• Evaluate the contractor’s claims and provide recommendations.
• Manage Quantity Surveyors.
• Evaluate contractor’s monthly payment and provide recommendation to the client.
• Reply to contractor’s various letters as per the conditions of contracts.
• Advice the Resident Engineer / Project Manager and the client on contractual issues.
• Finalise sub-contractors based on the quotations and technical details.
• Conduct valuation meetings with all parties and attend to progress meetings.
• Negotiation/Discussions with contractors for variations, new rates, day works etc.
• Takeoff quantities from drawings for variations and prepare variation BOQs.
