Project Manager, Lake Qaraoun Pollution Prevention Project (a World Bank funded project). The project consists of the construction of sewer networks in three areas of the Beqaa, promotion of good agricultural practices, and capacity building to the Ministry of Energy and Water, the Ministry of Environment, the Beqaa Water Establishment and the Litani River Authority. Responsibilities include managing the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR); participation in the evaluation process for the selection of consultants and contractors, including PMU staff; review designs; supervise construction; coordinate the promotion of good agricultural practices; follow-up and coordinate with the technical experts who will be assigned with capacity building tasks; ensure compliance with safeguard policies; and assist the CDR as necessary in the various tasks needed for the implementation of the project.
