Commissioning manager for The HVAC offshore grid connection platform HKZ-A&B which will be installed offshore at the North Sea. Headed the Team responsible of the Fabrication and Commissioning onshore at Dubai Dry Docks as well the offshore scope that will conducted in Netherlands.
performed the below activities:
- Planning and scheduling both onshore and offshore activities
- Developed the Interface and integration method statement
- Identify the Project critical path, ensure all Aux systems are commissioned on time and as per specs to enable HV systems testing start-up
- Preparation and developing of the commissioning Logic sequence
- Preparation of the commissioning Execution plan of both platforms
- Developed the 220KV and 66 KV GIS (2 NOs) Switchboards commissioning plan, breakdown the activities to achieve an optimized schedule
- Preparation of all testing equipment and miscellaneous materials required for the Commissioning team based on the job requirements.
- Preparation and study of all testing requirement based on client’s standards, NEN standards and • Governmental legislation.
- Advising the procurement team for the purchase of all commissioning related materials and test equipment to ensure deliveries on time with the minimum cost.
- Preparing contractual documentation for all services required during the commissioning period including rental contracts, vendor services and subcontractors.
- Preparing commissioning technical documents including sub system limit, procedures and operational test procedure based on the contractual project specs.
- Reviewing and populating all construction and commissioning ITR into PetroPcs database.
- Preparing and scheduling early energization including the manpower, equipment and resources required.
- Programming of LV SWG Relays.
- Ongoing planning to optimize the commissioning duration to improve the project delivery date.
- Plan all electrical temporary connections to minimize the use of generators reducing power switch-over shutdowns.
Responsible for the activities below:
- Identify required material and work front to avoid delays due to site condition constraints
- Identify requirements and scope of work, review specifications, drawings and other documents of the
project and establish applicability to the scope of work
- Carry out a detailed assessment of the commissioning work involved and assess the available resources and possible constraints in its execution.
- Constantly monitor to identify and communicate to Construction team on any priority areas of work to accomplish smooth commissioning activities.
- Constantly monitors and reviews functional completion to identify any potential/conceivable areas that may pose a challenge to the smooth commissioning of the Modules.
- Coordinate with electrical, instrument and other disciplines and individual systems and subsystems to achieve/commence pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Lead the internal staff meeting; ensure the progress of project in accordance to project schedule.
- Coordinate with projects and planning departments on schedule related issue.
- Panning for weekly activities and according to work fronts
