1. Ensure a prestige and clinical standard of cleaning in rooms and public areas. Inspect VIP and VVIP rooms . 2 Ensure compliance with all SOPs and LSOPs.
3. Assist in monitoring and controlling relevant procedures including lost and found, keys, security and emergency.
4. Ensure the control of operating and guest supplies; and analyse the department's P & L account to ensure performance against budget. 5. Ensure training analysis of housekeeping and laundry staff is carried out and training programmes are designed and implemented to meet the needs.
6. Oversee such major activities as PPM, window cleaning, marble polishing, gardening, flower contracts and deep cleaning.
Achievements:
1. Championed the implementation of the hotel's New Brand Standards and ensure it is maintained.
1. led the Supervisory Team to develop and present the 2020/2021 Strategic Objectives of the housekeeping department. 3. Implemented programmes that resulted in a 2% increase in the Employees Engagement Score for 2019 and 2020.
4. Oversaw projects that led to an increase in the Mystery Shopper's Audit score from 76% to 82% in 2019.
5. Managed a team of 74 staff in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper from March - December, 2020, and also took of the department during the challenging Quarantine business season in 2020.
6. Still in charge of the 269 room key housekeeping department from March till now.
