 Job Risk Assessment of non-routine tasks, ensure proffered mitigations are in place and duly implemented on site.
 Perform planned Audit and Inspection of Contractors equipment and materials on site.
 Preparation and appropriate filing of all HSE Documentations on site
 Perform safety induction and awareness training for Contractors personnel on arrival at site.
 Identification, close-out and reporting of potential hazards (anomalies) on sites.
 Participate in incident investigations and reviews on site using the cause tree analysis (CTA).
 Prepare, notify personnel and ensure weekly/monthly HSE meetings are performed with Company representatives and Contractor personnel on site and appropriately documented.
 Report daily and weekly HSE performance of all mobilized Contractors on site.
 Enforce compliance of all personnel to lay down procedures during any SIMOPS operations within defined locations on site.
 Ensure availability of a validated work permit (PTW) before commencement of work each day.
 Conduct regular site safety induction and follow up
 Conduct tool-box talk/meetings every morning before commencement of work.
 Compile daily/weekly safety reports of progress on site
 Carry out HSE induction of new arrivals
 Assist and ensure Company PTW is duly raised prior to commencement of any job, re-validated daily and fully closed at job completion.
 Participate during daily PTW meetings on site
 Perform HSE awareness campaign seminars on approved subjects for Contractors personnel on site- (12 Golden rules, Anomaly Reporting) etc.
 Participate during HSE Drills and emergency responses on site.
 Verify and ensure the update of Contractors daily and Cumulative man-hours on Contractors HSE Board on site
 Perform Gas monitoring of confined spaces and hazardous areas using certified gas detectors prior and during work on site.

Report to Senior Manager C.A.S.H.E
•Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
•Develop, manage and coordinate HSE Policies, Hazard Control Systems as well as HSE Procedures to reduce risks of injury, damage or loss to human and materials.
•Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation.
•Assist SNR Manager CASHE with safety meetings, training and new employee orientations.
•Provide health safety and environmental training support to field and corporate personnel to maintain industry standards.
•Prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary.
•Review the effectiveness of the Client’s safety programme in BCL projects and advise SNR Manager CASHE accordingly
•Monitor safety, training and health regulations and provide technical support to field and corporate personnel to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
•Develop HSE programs, administer the programs and make changes when necessary.
•Advising Management on HSE policies, practices and rules affecting the Company’s operations by maintaining effective interface with the Project Managers, Construction Manager and client.
•Coordinate HSE Audits/Inspections and ensure that instructions are followed to achieve audit objectives
•Carry out incident/accident investigations, provide technical expertise and share lessons learnt to all workers.
•Develop HSE programs, administer the programs and make changes when necessary.
•Develop environmental Management Strategies are in place to manage the potential impacts on the environment
•Lead HSE inspections, Audits and make recommendation for follow-up.
•Review standards and procedures in conjunction with departmental managers in order to improve the HSE plan.
•Ensuring compliance with BCL and client’s HSE policies and regulations, in addition to compliance with governmental regulations.
•Supervise/Coordinate all HSE Supervisors/Officers assigned to different project site.
•Develop program that will bring BCL HSE status from amber to green in BCL projects within the next six months.
•Ensure that Corporate Key Performance Indicators are met at all times.
•Perform additional duties as assigned by SNR Manager CASHE.

• Monitor project Safety program to ensure it supports progress through proactive planning
• Organise HSE Forums based on observed trends.
