Responsibilities

 Handling networking projects from site survey to the last bit of network installation e.g. Upgrade of the whole network infrastructure of the Kenya Airports Authority, Ascon LTD and many other companies and organizations.
 Maintenance of network equipment
 Administering & designing LANs and WANs internet/intranet.
 Analyzing & developing key components using methodology prescribed techniques.
 Communicating and negotiating with users, specialists, other staff and suppliers.
 Responsible for communication protocols, configuration, integration & security.
 Investigating, diagnosing and resolve all network problems.
 Maintaining pre-packaged software applications on the LAN and upgrading networks & peripheral equipment.

Achievements

 Handled and assisted in major projects to completion like the network installation at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport new terminals and KAA headquarters.
 Got a lot of technical experience in networking.
 Got good understanding of static routing, SQL databases and Vmware.
 Got working knowledge of major networking components & hardware components.
 Possess knowledge of ITIL incident, problem & change management.
 Got ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues.
 Got experience of performance measurement, capacity and tuning issues.
