I am a finance and accounting professional having experience in accounting & audit more than 8 years. Presently I am associated with a multinational company based on Kuwait as a Internal Auditor. Our company is belong to infrastructure development industry, especially on Government projects. My job role is management level and my reporting responsibility direct to our top management & CEO. My specialized areas are internal audit, cost analysis and control, financial management, evaluation of operational efficiency, credit control, financial diagnosis, VAT filing & ensuring better compliance with IFRS, IAS & regulations in financial reporting.
Preparation of financial statements according to IFRS and Statutory Requirements
* Handling independently the audits and supervise the junior staffs in audit & accounts related matters
* Drafting, presentation and discussion of formal audit report before the top level management
* Providing advisory and training services in finance and accounting for our clients
* Preparing reports for analysing the projects economic feasibility and viability
* Ensuring adherence to IAS and IFRS while conducting the Audits & Accounts Supervision of clients
* Providing VAT registration services
* Tax planning and ensuring the better compliance procedures as per the UAE Federal Tax Authority
regulations
* Filing of periodic VAT returns and providing VAT supervision and advisory services to our clients
* Advising clients on business opportunities and risk involved
* Monthly accounts updating of clients and submission of monthly financials summary report to the
management
* Making recommendations for improving competitive position of clients
* Providing services to enable the clients to have better control and security over Internal Control
Procedures
Conduct independently various types of audits - Financial Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Internal
Audit, Concurrent Audit etc. of various companies and banks
* Tax planning, Management consulting, Business advisory & Insurance services for various clients
* Computation and filing of VAT returns and Income Tax returns of various firms and companies and
submit the tax return to the government authorities
* Performing the audit engagements by ensuring the better compliance with the Standards on Auditing &
Accounting Standards issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
* Providing training & proper directions for the juniors in the practical side of audits, accounts & taxation
* Coordinated and discussed with the client
* Quality review of financial statements and tax returns
* Planned and performed audit function, prepared audit program /procedures, and submitted reports to
the manager
* Ensuring compliance with direct tax laws
* Proper documentation & filing of audit findings and evidences & maintain database for future reference
Supervise independently entire accounting related functions and responsibilities
* Ensuring good corporate governance as per company policies
* Preparation of monthly VAT computation and Tax E-filing
* Inventory management
* Processing of monthly payroll
* Generation of annual sales tax return and uploading of closing stock to tax authorities
* Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
I have successfully completed my graduation in B.com (Finance) in 2009 and also successfully achieved the IPCC, intermediate level of Chartered Accountancy course from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Now, I am pursuing the CA final course.
