• Handled all ICAs (Inter Company Agreement) - billing and charge outs for IBM Middle East (GMR and GMT).
• Verify all expense claims payout for IBM Middle East (GMR & GMT).
• Managed fixed assets for IBM Middle East.
• Ensure all financial accounting processes are carried out in line with Group Accounting Policies, handle Delegation of Authorities, ensure that operational policies are in line with accounting procedures and ensure that month and year-end financial closures are processed properly.
• Ensure that the sales for the month balance with the figures reported in the Daily Sales Report and reconcile the financial ledger ties up with the MCG3 (SAP)report.
• Ensure that various expenses for the month are recorded correctly and represent adequately costs.
• Ensure that adequate provisions and accruals are created for expenses incurred but not accounted.
Management Information System
• Manage the monthly and quarterly closing of accounts for GMR.
• Analyse and prepare reports on periodic intervals on the financial and operational performance by way of Profit & Loss Statement, Margin Analysis, Key Performance Indicators, Variance Analysis, etc. to enable management decision making.
Accounts Payable
• Follow-up and reconciliation of the suppliers’ payables, checking of suppliers bills with terms of purchase order and ensure timely payment.
• Receive Vendor statements on a regular basis and reconcile their accounts.
Audit
• Co-ordinate and provide various reports & statements to ensure timely statutory + internal audits.
• Co-ordinate with the auditors and provide them various details / clarifications to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of the audit exercise.
