•Responsible for the factory operations in general
•Plan and control the production team to ensure that the set output targets are met.
•Responsible for the maintenance team for periodic and break-down maintenance of machineries.
•Design or modify existing or new machine parts or machines whenever needed. Responsible for budgeting and supplier negotiations for the same.
•Oversee and approve the preparation and updating of work procedures, internal specifications for the reference of operators, preparation of product or machine drawings etc.
•Recruit and oversee the training of key technicians.
•Communicate with customers on quality issues and new requirements.

• Responsible for the start-up phase of an online retail business, mainly for sourcing and signing up of distributors.

Achievements
-Successfully completed the initial phase.
Successfully completed a project on scrap reduction which led to an estimated saving of 35k Euros per year
Led the engineering team responsible for the transfer of a complete production line from Austria to Indonesia, a project worth 1million Euro
Carried out functions like supplier sourcing and procurement, preparation of lay-out, arrangement of facilities, training for man-power, installation and release of machines, internal audits, production ramp-up, preparation of initial samples for customer release etc.
•Periodic reporting to the management regarding the production and quality performance
•Designed and maintained quality tools, control plans etc. for various production lines
•Prepared work procedures, defect Sample Boards etc. required for standardization of production lines
•Designed production layouts for start-up projects and ensured continuous optimization of production work-flow
•Worked in close coordination with the Quality Team to ensure timely effective resolution of customer Claims using necessary analytical and reporting tools.
•Led the Engineering Change Control/Release activities
•Actively involved in the Process Release for various automotive customers
•Participated in process optimization activities like minimization of direct material usage and process time
•Carried out outgoing quality inspection of products referring to defined protocols
•Worked in close coordination with the production team and defined failure modes, corrective and preventive actions
•Conducted periodic internal audits
•Led the team for analysing and responding to customer claims in an effective and timely manner
