Facilities - Maintenance, Refurbishment & Fit- Out works - U.A.E.
• Spearheaded a strong team of sixteen Multi - disciplined Engineers for the maintenance and refurbishment of buildings leased and owned by Emirates.
• Maintenance works were carried out in 75 towers accommodating cabin crew, 2100 villas accommodating Managers, Pilots and Engineers, 102 travel shops all over UAE of Emirates & dnata and 35 commercial buildings / offices owned by Emirates Group.
• Managed these complex workloads with numerous multinational maintenance contractors with multi-trade teams and effectively managed conflicting priorities, challenges and demands. Reacting positively in crisis situation.
• Implemented maintenance work flow processes, procedures and systems for PPM, Corrective Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Routine Maintenance, Emergency Maintenance, Call - outs complaints, Refurbishments and other Fit- Out works.
• Carried out site inspections, monitored the progress and quality of works. Check the performance of various specialist contractors and ensuring they complied with safety standards & regulations and works completed by staff or contractors to satisfactory levels.
• Respond to Emergency situation and to other escalated issues that may arise during out of office hours.
• Actively participated in Budget Planning, Estimation, Cost Controls and Financial planning / forecasting.
• Deploying best engineering practices that improve efficiency reduce operating cost whilst increasing productivity.
• Ensuring Emirates has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities by giving special attention to Health, Safety, & House-keeping.

Facilities Maintenance, Refurbishment & Fit- Out works (Outstations - World-wide)
• Responsible for the maintenance and refurbishment works worth approx. 5 million UAE dirham for offices at 120 Emirates destinations. Each station had seven offices including first & business class lounges, Offices in the Airport, Town, Reservation & Ticketing, Cargo, Engineering, Call Centres, Data centres and other properties.
• Engaged with Multinational Contractors and internal design team.
• Advised on crucial improvements on the design of the fit -out works.
• Successfully implemented maintenance procedure to each out station based on local rules and regulations.
Facilities Contracts
• Responsible for the Contract administration of major construction projects worth approx. 2 billion UAE dirham.
• Independently handled Multinational Consultants and Contractors.
• Prepared tender documents, tender evaluation, bid tabulation, negotiating to get the best deal and awarding of works.
• Analysing for value engineering, control on variation, validating on payment certificates.
• Comparing costs for required goods / services to achieve maximum value for money
• Procurement of goods and services by issuing purchase and work orders.
• Established maintenance contracts for all Civil, MEP works and supported all facilities related operations behind the scene like Cleaning, Security, Indoor Plants, External landscaping, Central services, security and waste disposal.
Facilities Projects
• Managed seven major projects for Emirates Group worth approx. 1.2 Billion UAE dirham with multinational Consultants and Contractors..
• Acted as an advisory body to the senior management on technical, contractual and commercial matters related to facilities management.
• Maintained regular contacts with stakeholders, senior management and Consultant to ensure their requirements, directions, enquiries and complaints were incorporated and addressed as appropriate into the project design.
• Assessed planning proposals, monitored the work progress to ensure that Contractors meets project milestones, had contingency and recovery programmes for every key risk and all deadlines were met with the standard quality of works as required.
