As a host we are responsible of welcoming, entertaining, and taking care of our guest needs. Be assertive and attentive at all times. Ability to multitask, work in fast faced environment and high level attention to details because our guests is our highest priority.
Greet and assist guests to their tables. Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about ingredients, portion or potential food allergies). Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses. Inform the guest about the day’s specials and offer menu recommendations upon request. Up-sell additional products when appropriate. Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization. And be assertive and attentive at all times. Maintaining positive and productive
working relationships with other employees and departments.
