Job Profile:
• Responsible for guiding the buy-side Research function of the organisation, servicing the requirements of various divisions within the Global Markets Group
• Creating a research culture with emphasis on thematic research, identifying opportunities and hidden value in listed companies through fundamental analysis and company visits
• Playing a pivotal role in stock selection and timing of investment decisions for portfolios across asset classes
• Managing an outsourcing initiative to handle some of the manpower heavy functions of the Research division
• Contributing towards Investment Strategy as member of the Investment Committee, undertaking periodic portfolio reviews and rebalancing
