Strategic and Operational Responsibilities
• Completely responsible for the identification of a new warehousing strategy, sourcing of potential 3rd party warehousing solution provider, contract negotiations and will take the new solution to its conclusion in Q1 2024 saving AED 3.5m p/a.
• Part of team tasked with developing an integrated Transport and Logistics software platform and App.
• Manage Logistics services for COP 28 across various site locations for an efficient and economical end-to-end event operation
• Responsible for writing all Logistical operational documentation to enable a smooth transition from BAU for Expo City Dubai to full COP28 operations.
• Manage site logistics requirements including plant and equipment.
• Manage space and office logistics requirements, including but not limited to FFE Load in/out, and any other ad-hoc logistics requirement for COP 28.
• Maintain budget record keeping against spend according to budget and level of authority.
• Manage space requirements for COP 28
• Provide advice, consultation and updates to different departments, suppliers and other external stakeholders in their efforts to integrate daily activities within Expo City Dubai.
• Work directly with designated Expo City Dubai Functions to identify their scope for logistics services across all venues.
• Manage the logistics service request for COP 28 and provide the agreed level of service to other departments and stakeholders in accordance with agreed and developed SLA’s
• Monitor the performance of contractors or vendors of COP28 ensuring that KPIs and deliverables are met.
• Deputise for the Senior Manager (Logistics).
